Payment information

Some Hive Link features may be free, paid, or available under a subscription plan. If paid features are offered, payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details on our own systems unless explicitly stated.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create, authenticate, secure, and manage user accounts and organizations.
  • Provide public Hive Link profiles, links, link groups, social links, QR codes, sharing tools, customization, SEO settings, and media hosting.
  • Operate music and map previews, link protection, subscriber capture, subscriber OTP verification, and unsubscribe flows.
  • Display public profile content to visitors and route visitors to third-party destinations selected by users.
  • Measure profile views, link clicks, social link clicks, QR scans, traffic, and product performance.
  • Send account, security, service, verification, onboarding, product, and marketing communications where allowed.
  • Provide support, troubleshoot, improve the platform, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Public Content and Visitor Interactions

Hive Link profiles are designed to be public. Profile names, bios, images, links, social profiles, thumbnails, SEO previews, music or map previews, QR links, and other content a user publishes may be visible to visitors.

Users are responsible for the content they publish, the destinations they link to, and the personal information they choose to make public.

Visitors who click a link, scan a QR code, subscribe, pass an age gate, enter a password, or interact with a protected link may generate analytics and access records needed to provide the service.

5. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help with hosting, databases, storage, media delivery, analytics, email delivery, security, rate limiting, customer support, and technical operations.
  • Visitors, when users publish content on a public Hive Link profile.
  • Profile owners, when visitors subscribe, interact with links, or generate analytics connected to that profile.
  • Analytics and integration providers, including PostHog and optional Google Analytics when configured.
  • Payment providers if paid plans or paid features are offered.
  • Legal authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect our rights, users, platform, or the public.
  • Successors or transaction parties if Hive Link or 212 Hive is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, investment, or sale of assets.

6. Cookies, Tracking, and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users logged in, remember preferences, protect accounts, measure performance, understand usage, and provide analytics.

Hive Link uses product analytics to measure profile views, link clicks, social link clicks, and QR scans. Users may also add a Google Analytics ID to their profile, which can allow Google Analytics to collect visitor interaction data according to Google's own terms and privacy policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some cookies may affect how Hive Link works.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Account, organization, profile, link, subscriber, media, and analytics records may be kept while the account or profile remains active.
  • Security, audit, verification, and legal records may be kept for longer when needed to prevent abuse, resolve disputes, enforce terms, or comply with law.
  • Public profile content may remain visible until removed by the user, restricted by us, or deleted as part of account closure.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information.

Users can update many account, profile, link, customization, subscriber, and integration settings from the Hive Link dashboard.

Subscribers may unsubscribe where an unsubscribe flow is available or contact us for help. You may also opt out of marketing communications when an unsubscribe option is provided.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including authentication, session controls, rate limiting, access controls, and service provider safeguards.

No online service is completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping login credentials safe and for avoiding publication of sensitive personal information on public profiles.

10. International Processing

Hive Link is operated from Morocco. Some service providers may store or process information in other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your country.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or lawful transfer mechanisms for international processing.

Hive Link is not intended for children who are not legally able to use online services or enter into an agreement. Users must not knowingly collect children's personal information through Hive Link unless they have the legal right to do so.

12. Third-Party Services

Hive Link profiles may contain links to third-party websites, social media pages, messaging apps, music services, maps, stores, forms, payment pages, and other external services.

We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their privacy practices, content, availability, safety, fees, or actions.
