In this policy, "Hive Link," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the operator of the Hive Link platform.

"Users" means people or businesses who create, manage, or use a Hive Link account or public profile. "Visitors" means people who view or interact with a Hive Link profile.

We collect information you provide, information generated by your use of Hive Link, and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service.

Account and authentication information

• Name, email address, phone number, profile image, login method, password or authentication credentials, email and phone verification status, session data, account status, terms and privacy acceptance records, and marketing email opt-in records.
• Organization and membership information when a Hive Link profile is connected to an organization.
• Security and administration fields such as role, ban status, deactivation status, and login metadata.

Profile and public page information

• Profile handle, title, bio, profile picture, SEO title and description, Open Graph styling, themes, fonts, colors, button styling, background images, logo visibility, share button visibility, and subscribe settings.
• Social links, link groups, headers, link titles, descriptions, URLs, thumbnails, icons, ordering, visibility, active or archived status, highlighted state, and QR identifiers.
• Music and map settings, including supported music service URLs, Google Maps URLs, labels, map style, preview image keys, and coordinates where provided.
• Link protection settings such as password protection, age gates, minimum age, sensitive content notices, and newsletter-required access.

Subscriber information

If a visitor subscribes to a Hive Link profile or unlocks newsletter-gated content, we may collect the subscriber's email address, verification status, subscription status, subscription dates, unsubscribe dates, OTP verification codes, and OTP expiry/use status.

Visitor, analytics, and technical information

• Profile views, link clicks, social link clicks, QR scans, link handles, link IDs, link titles, link URLs, link types, social platforms, timestamps, and analytics ranges.
• Device, browser, operating system, referring source, approximate location from technical data, IP address, logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
• Google Analytics identifiers added by users and analytics data collected by analytics providers when those integrations are enabled.

Uploads and imported metadata

When users upload or import images, thumbnails, backgrounds, or metadata previews, we may process file content, file names, file types, object keys, public media URLs, size, and related technical metadata.

Payment information

Some Hive Link features may be free, paid, or available under a subscription plan. If paid features are offered, payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details on our own systems unless explicitly stated.

We use information to:

• Create, authenticate, secure, and manage user accounts and organizations.
• Provide public Hive Link profiles, links, link groups, social links, QR codes, sharing tools, customization, SEO settings, and media hosting.
• Operate music and map previews, link protection, subscriber capture, subscriber OTP verification, and unsubscribe flows.

• Measure profile views, link clicks, social link clicks, QR scans, traffic, and product performance.
• Send account, security, service, verification, onboarding, product, and marketing communications where allowed.
• Provide support, troubleshoot, improve the platform, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Hive Link profiles are designed to be public. Profile names, bios, images, links, social profiles, thumbnails, SEO previews, music or map previews, QR links, and other content a user publishes may be visible to visitors.

Users are responsible for the content they publish, the destinations they link to, and the personal information they choose to make public.

Visitors who click a link, scan a QR code, subscribe, pass an age gate, enter a password, or interact with a protected link may generate analytics and access records needed to provide the service.

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help with hosting, databases, storage, media delivery, analytics, email delivery, security, rate limiting, customer support, and technical operations.
• Visitors, when users publish content on a public Hive Link profile.
• Profile owners, when visitors subscribe, interact with links, or generate analytics connected to that profile.
• Analytics and integration providers, including PostHog and optional Google Analytics when configured.
• Payment providers if paid plans or paid features are offered.
• Legal authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect our rights, users, platform, or the public.

Hive Link uses product analytics to measure profile views, link clicks, social link clicks, and QR scans. Users may also add a Google Analytics ID to their profile, which can allow Google Analytics to collect visitor interaction data according to Google's own terms and privacy policy.
