Hive Merchant is a commerce platform that helps businesses create online storefronts, manage catalogs, receive orders, organize customers, and configure pickup and delivery options.
This Privacy Policy explains how Hive Merchant, currently operated by Imad Atyat-Allah as part of the 212 Hive ecosystem, collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website, dashboard, storefronts, checkout, order history, and related services.

In this policy, "Hive Merchant," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the operator of the Hive Merchant platform.
"Merchants" means businesses using Hive Merchant to create or manage a store. "Customers" means people who visit a storefront, place an order, view order history, or interact with a store powered by Hive Merchant.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide, information generated by your use of Hive Merchant, and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service.
Account and authentication information
- Name, email address, phone number, profile image, login method, password or authentication credentials, email and phone verification status, session data, account status, terms and privacy acceptance records, and marketing email opt-in records.
- Organization, membership, invitation, role, admin, and store ownership information.
- Security and administration fields such as role, ban status, deactivation status, impersonation metadata, and login metadata.
Store and catalog information
- Store name, handle, bio, logo, cover image, social links, tag options, active status, ordering status, best-seller display settings, and organization information.
- Categories, products, menus, descriptions, images, prices, compare-at prices, tags, product status, sort order, modifiers, modifier options, availability, visibility, and location-specific availability.
- Uploaded media assets, including object keys, public URLs, content type, file size, width, height, and owner information.
Customer, cart, and order information
- Customer name, phone number, email address, last delivery city, last address, total spent, order count, and store relationship.
- Cart status, cart items, quantities, selected modifiers, last activity, and related product/store records.
- Order address, subtotal, delivery fee, total, status, fulfillment type, notes, cancellation reason, delivery city, location, customer, order items, modifiers, timestamps, and order history.
- Review information such as rating, comment, images, publication status, order, store, and customer references.
Pickup, delivery, and location information
- Store locations, phone numbers, addresses, latitude, longitude, opening hours, public visibility, pickup settings, local delivery settings, and ordering availability.
- City delivery prices, delivery zones, delivery fees, delivery assignment status, delivery provider identifiers, delivery event records, driver selections, driver profile status, vehicle type, city, application notes, and delivery workflow metadata.
Payment information
Hive Merchant does not currently process online payments inside the platform. If a merchant accepts payment by cash, bank transfer, cash on delivery, in-person payment, WhatsApp, or another external method, that payment is handled directly between the merchant and the customer.
If Hive Merchant introduces online payments, payment terminals, cards, or other financial services in the future, payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers and this policy may be updated.
Analytics and technical information
- Store views, product clicks, store IDs, handles, names, product IDs, product titles, product statuses, timestamps, and analytics ranges.
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring source, approximate location from technical data, logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, secure, and manage merchant accounts, organizations, members, stores, and admin access.
- Provide storefronts, catalog management, product and modifier management, media hosting, store settings, social links, availability controls, and analytics.
- Operate carts, authenticated checkout, customer profiles, order history, order management, pickup, city delivery pricing, locations, reviews, and delivery workflows.
- Display store content to customers and share order information with the merchant operating the store.
- Send account, security, service, verification, onboarding, product, and marketing communications where allowed.
- Provide support, troubleshoot, improve the platform, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Merchant and Customer Data
Hive Merchant provides tools for merchants to manage their business. Some personal information is part of the merchant's business relationship with its customers.
When a customer places an order, views order history, chooses pickup or delivery, submits contact details, or writes a review, relevant information may be shared with the merchant so the merchant can fulfill the order, provide support, manage delivery, and operate the store.
Merchants are responsible for using customer data lawfully, protecting customer information they access, and using it only for legitimate business purposes.
Hive Merchant processes customer and merchant information to provide the platform and related services.
5. Sharing Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help with hosting, databases, storage, media delivery, analytics, email delivery, security, rate limiting, customer support, and technical operations.
- Merchants, when customers place orders, interact with storefronts, use customer profiles, submit reviews, or contact a store.
- Customers, when merchants publish storefront content, store policies, product details, pickup locations, delivery settings, or order status information.
- Delivery providers, drivers, or delivery-related services when needed to assign, manage, track, cancel, or complete deliveries.
- Analytics providers, including product analytics services used to measure store and product performance.
- Future payment providers if online payments or other financial features are introduced.
- Legal authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect our rights, users, platform, or the public.
- Successors or transaction parties if Hive Merchant or 212 Hive is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, investment, or sale of assets.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users logged in, remember preferences, protect accounts, measure performance, understand usage, and provide analytics.
Hive Merchant uses product analytics to measure store views, product clicks, traffic, ordering activity, and product performance.

- Account, organization, store, catalog, customer, cart, order, review, delivery, media, and analytics records may be kept while the account, store, or customer relationship remains active.
- Order, delivery, tax, security, audit, verification, and legal records may be kept for longer when needed to operate the business, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce terms, or comply with law.
- Storefront content may remain visible until removed by the merchant, restricted by us, or deleted as part of store or account closure.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information.
Merchants can update many account, store, catalog, location, delivery, availability, social link, and account settings from the Hive Merchant dashboard.
Customers may update checkout information during order flows and may contact the merchant or us for help with customer data connected to a store. You may also opt out of marketing communications when an unsubscribe option is provided.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including authentication, session controls, rate limiting, access controls, and service provider safeguards.
No online service is completely secure. Merchants are responsible for protecting account access and customer data they export, copy, or use outside Hive Merchant.
10. International Processing
Hive Merchant is operated from Morocco. Some service providers may store or process information in other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or lawful transfer mechanisms for international processing.
11. Children
Hive Merchant is not intended for children who are not legally able to use online services, place orders, or enter into an agreement. Merchants must not knowingly collect children's personal information through Hive Merchant unless they have the legal right to do so.
12. Third-Party Services
Stores powered by Hive Merchant may contain links to third-party websites, social media pages, WhatsApp, external payment methods, delivery services, maps, or other external services.
We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their privacy practices, content, availability, safety, fees, payments, delivery performance, or actions.
